OTOH, I could be completely wrong about all this.
Focusrite Control is available to download at any time, even without registering: see Manual Registration below.
its like the focusrite drivers only do a very high latency version of 2ms, and with the latency that low, the 39 underruns occur. NOTE: Installing Focusrite Control will also automatically install the correct driver for your device. why because the focusrite drivers cant go the same low 2ms as the asio 4 all. and that not even even using the lowest setting vs asio 4 all. Then restart your computer, install the Focusrite drivers ensuring the interface itself is not plugged in to the computer, then connect the interface and, hopefully, Windows will now install the correct drivers and your interface will work. with the latency set at 2ms with 2i2 drivers i get 39 under runs. Download Now FOCUSRITE USB ASIO 4.36.5 DRIVER Select your product from either drop-down menu and click on the driver download link under the software section. Focusrite device is enabling millions of martin audio ltd. I know that the standard advice for the "order of downloading/installing/connecting" these type of devices is: download and install the drivers before connecting the interface, since Windows is likely to automatically install generic USB drivers which, in the case of such relatively specialised hardware as an audio interface, may well be completely inappropriate.Ĭould that be the cause of the problem here? If so, I think you may well need to uninstall both the ASIO and default drivers (the latter should be possible via Device Manager, Uninstall Driver, the former will, hopefully include an uninstaller).
